In 2025, we were able to support the Volunteer Fire Brigade in Vodice with a donation of €1,200. The handover of the donation cheque took place during a personal meeting with the President of the Volunteer Fire Brigade, Matija Karlo Valinčić.
Supporting the fire brigade is not a one-time project for us, but a fixed part of our company since its founding. From every housekeeping check booked by our customers, we donate €5 to the Volunteer Fire Brigade in Vodice. This amount is additionally supplemented by our own company funds.
At this point, we would like to express our sincere thanks to our customers. Without the trust and cooperation of our customers, a donation of this size would not be possible. Every booked check contributes directly to supporting the work of the Volunteer Fire Brigade in Vodice.
The Volunteer Fire Brigade in Vodice is not only active in emergencies, but also an active part of public life. Particularly noteworthy is the annual fire brigade competition “Memorial Fire Combat – Srce Kornatsko”, which takes place in the summer and to which guests and locals alike are warmly invited. The competition is dedicated to the memory of the 12 firefighters who lost their lives in 2007 during a tragedy on the Kornati Islands. It is a lively, family-friendly event and offers an exciting insight into the work and team spirit of the fire brigade.
Even though there were no major publicly known fires in Vodice itself in the past year, the volunteer emergency services remain ready throughout the entire year — whether for technical operations, preventive work, or to provide support in the region.
With this contribution, we would like to transparently show how our donations are generated and what scope they have in each respective year.
